Whether I view God as my Father, my Mother, my Friend, my Protector....

Whether I view God as Principle, Source, Spirit, Oneness....

I remain delighted to know Oneness with God. No matter what discoveries or decisions I make regarding my relationship with God, I suspect I will always see myself as a child of God...

Good morning, God.
I embrace that I am your child,
that you have me constantly your Child of Good.

That is not a typo. God is, for me, the greatest Power and Presence of Good.

Prayer Prompt 18

I grew up with mixed instructions:

Love God.

Fear God.

I recognized the contradiction pretty quickly. But it took me longer to realize that to fear God is just flat out wrong. Self-defeating. Self-damaging. Dumb.

And so as I've loved God, I've learned to love God more. And that learning has let me bring respect in as part of the love.

I respect you, God.
I am open and receptive
to my wants being fulfilled.

The beauty is that it's two-way love. And God expresses love by his creations. You and me.

And by fulfilling our wants.

Prayer Prompt 17

Prosperity comes in many forms.

With the heightened commercial attention to the Law of Attraction, it's very easy to equate prosperity with wealth...and mean financial wealth.

Certainly financial or material wealth is one form of prosperity. And not a bad form, at that. But it's surely not the only prosperity.

I recently concluded that the abundance I receive from God is the raw material from which I get to produce prosperity.

God doesn't send me prosperity like a bag of money or a winning lottery ticket. God manifests for me an abundance of tools I can use to create the prosperity I want. That may be financial prosperity. It may also be prosperity in terms of happiness, health, friendships, experiences......

The tools God provides me are ideas. In abundance.

I thank you, God.
Send me ideas that benefit me,
benefit others, benefit your Universe.
