It's taken all my life for me to unlearn my mistaken interpretation of "in God's image."
God doesn't look like me. I don't look like God.
Yet I am in God's image. We are all in God's image. Every one of us is the spirit God created. That spirit is of God. That spirit is God.
It wasn't easy for me to let go of my visual, 3-dimensional definition of "image." But it's easier and easier to enjoy the Oneness that is spirit and love and peace...and more.
You are beautiful, God.
I am grateful to be in your image.
And your beloved child.
And knowing we are all of God, we are all God, it is right to look in the mirror and see God in the face looking back.
